The Gun Well looking towards the front of the Emplacement. The front face of the Gun Well has been pushed forward by the Magazine’s explosion, and debris is is piled up covering what would once have been the field of fire of the gun.

The unexploded shell shown in the Serapong Battery page was found approximately in the area shown in the bottom left corner of this photograph.
