Pillboxes on Sentosa
Elsewhere on Sentosa can still be found remnants of the defences which once abounded on the island. On the southern beaches, still standing watch over the coast are several pillboxes, elsewhere there are two concrete gun shelters and a watchtower. It is likely that there are that there other defences of which I am not aware.

The entrance to both the pillboxes are from below. The pillbox on the left has had its entrance blocked with concrete. The pillbox in the centre photograph has two fire positions, and the right-hand photograph shows the entrance to it.
