The Mandai Guns

Nothing is known as to how these 140mm Japanese guns came to be in the Mandai jungle.
An inscription on the breech of the guns states that they were designed in 1914 for use against shipping and were made in the Kure Arsenal in 1923. The guns are over 7.25 metres in length and fired a shell of 38Kgs to a range of 17,000 metres.
